Jinan Quancheng Water Affairs Huahua Water Plant has recently started to add activated carbon to the bioactive carbon filter. More than 1,000 tons of activated carbon to be added are all in place. This is the first large-scale use of activated carbon in the city's water industry. Yellow river water tastes "pure water".
The most prominent process of advanced treatment is to enable the bio-activated carbon filter, that is, put the activated carbon into the bio-activated carbon filter. Through the adsorption and biodegradation of activated carbon, the organic matter in the water can be effectively eliminated, and the water with better taste than the traditional process is produced.
At present, the Huahua Water Plant is accelerating its in-depth processing capacity. It is expected that by August 10, 200,000 tons of Yellow River water will be processed daily. (Reporter Ma Guojun Trainee Reporter Chen Jiabao)
